Lord, be merciful to me, for I am weak and my body hurts. The pain has stayed too long and I am worn down by it. Bring relief. Loosen what is tight, cool what burns, and calm what aches. Give me a break from the pain, even a short one. Help me sleep tonight. And while I wait for full healing, give me strength for each hour and peace in my mind.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
Be merciful to me, O LORD, for I am frail; heal me, O LORD, for my bones are in agony.Psalm 6:2
